How it Works

1. Choose one of the following forms for your particular situation and read through the optional/required forms for your chosen form.

2. Fill out your Nonlawyer Disclosure Form

3. Once we receive your NonLawyer Disclosure form, you will receive email instructions (usually within 10 minutes) on how to pay your fee and set your over-the-phone appointment.

4. Your document preparer will ask you questions by phone in order to complete your divorce documents. This may take a few hours if your situation is complicated, or if you have many assets, etc. etc. (there is no additional charge for extra time)

5. Your document preparer will email you your completed, ready-to-file forms along with instructions on how to file in your county of Florida. (usually immediately after your phone call, but can take up to one or two business days if you have a very complicated situation)

6. File your forms!

Choose from the following 4 forms:

12.901(a) Petition for Simplified Dissolution of Marriage - 10/1/2011

12.901(b)(1) Petition for Dissolution of Marriage with Dependent or Minor Child(ren) - 10/1/2011

12.901(b)(2) Petition for Dissolution of Marriage with Property but No Dependent or Minor Child(ren) - 10/01/2011

12.901(b)(3) Petition for Dissolution of Marriage with No Dependent or Minor Child(ren) or Property -10/01/2011

Additional Forms may be required depending on your selection above (click on the links above to read about what forms must be filed with each petition).

100% Guarantee Information

If the court clerk does not accept your forms for filing, we will refund 100% of your fee. If the court does not approve your divorce as a direct result of an administrative error that we made on a form, then we will refund 100% of your fee.

Of course, if you do not file the forms, or choose not to get a divorce after having your forms prepared, there will be no refund.

Why Choose a Document Preparer? Can't I Just Do This Myself?

By using a nonlawyer document preparer you are doing this yourself, with one simple advantage: you don't have to fill out the forms, mess with the forms, get frustrated with the forms or play wastepaper-basketball over and over. You simply answer questions over the phone and someone with experience filling out the documents will get the forms ready for filing. You save time. You save money. You skip the headache. And within a day or two, you can file for your divorce worry-free.

NOTICE: A document preparer cannot give legal advice or choose the forms that you file with the court. This purpose of this page is to list the family law forms that the Florida Supreme Court has approved for public use. These listed forms are the only forms that are prepared for you through this website. If you need legal advice, have questions about your divorce, or need clarification on your legal rights, then contact a Florida Divorce Attorney.

WARNING: This page does NOT list all forms for every situation. If you need a form that is NOT listed below, you will need to prepare your own documents or hire an attorney. To do this you will need to either consult Florida Statutes and Rules for Divorce Proceedings or seek the advice of a Florida Divorce Attorney.
